Member for Brindabella Nicole Lawder will tomorrow have her head shaved as part of a world record attempt to raise money for the Cancer Council’s Relay for Life.

“It’s great to be part of the Canberra Liberals Relay for Life team organised by my colleague Jeremy Hanson, but I’ve decided to go that one step further and ‘go bald for a cause’,” Ms Lawder said today.

“Relay for Life organisers are hoping for 200 heads to be shaved simultaneously at the AIS Athletics track to set a Guinness World Record.

“I’m looking forward to the event, albeit apprehensively,” Ms Lawder concluded.
